You get four
thousand weeks.
That's it. That's the whole allocation, and a good chunk of yours is already gone. Nobody mentions this, because a person who has done the arithmetic is much harder to keep in line.
So we left — country, family, friends, the sensible version of the plan. This is the clothing that came out of it: for chasing the thing you actually want, out loud, in front of everybody.

Membership is simple: wear it, mean it, and stop apologising for taking up space.
Take me to the storeHow it goes
-
Step 01
We say it first
Every piece starts as something one of us actually said out loud and then thought better of. Those are the good ones. If it doesn't make us slightly nervous, it doesn't get printed.
-
Step 02
We make the thing
Heavyweight cotton, printed big enough to read from across the road. Most of the statements live across the back, because that's the side of you people are looking at when you walk away.
-
Step 03
You wear it out
Somebody reads it, somebody has an opinion about it, and that's the entire point. Then we go again.
What you should know.
What does BADSCANDAL stand for?
Being the bad scandal. Anarchy of the personal kind — expressing yourself freely and being yourself, whatever that means for you. Not a puppet, not a people-pleaser, not a version of yourself built for someone else's comfort.
Who's behind it?
Luke and Lilian. We left our country to chase making things and seeing the world, and started a clothing brand as a statement to ourselves that we were actually doing it. The whole story is here.
What's the difference between Statements and Essentials?
Statements have something to say across them — that's the loud half of the wardrobe. Essentials are the blanks and basics you build the rest of the outfit from. Both are in the store.
What if someone's offended by what's printed on it?
We don't care — we're here to express. If everything you make is safe for everyone, it says nothing to anyone. If you're not breaking the law, there's no problem.
Where do you ship?
Worldwide. Prices are in euro, and everything is made to order — so give it a little longer than you'd give a warehouse.
